Frontline: Faith & Doubt at Ground Zero

Spirituality and religion are elements many people in the world possess. The idea that there is something out there bigger than ourselves is fascinating and helps people cope with the difficulty and pain that often come with life. PBS and Frontline have put together Faith & Doubt at Ground Zero, a truly insightful and thought-provoking documentary which sheds light on the spiritual and religious activity surrounding 9/11. This wonderful program is now out on DVD and it is truly enlightening and certainly worth your time.

When terrorists declared war on America by murdering thousands of innocent people on September 11, 2001, the idea of evil and lack of God became popular notions. If God truly did exist, then why did He let this horrible event take place. Faith & Doubt at Ground Zero explores this powerful question among others. The documentary contains interviews from religion and spirituality scholars, people who have a firm understanding of the great mysteries such as the existence of God and what might await us in the afterlife.

PBS is known for their educational programming and Faith & Doubt at Ground Zero is further proof of this truth. If you are curious about the unknown and want to a spend two hours of your time wisely, then this documentary is right up your alley. It is an intelligent and insightful look into one of history’s most devastating events. The interviews conducted are engrossing and the images shown are deeply moving. Faith & Doubt at Ground Zero is one of the most engaging documentaries I have ever seen and it is definitely worth a look.
