A Turtle’s Tale 2: Sammy’s Escape from Paradise

In the last decade or so, the computer-animated film category has grown and grown. Film companies like Pixar and Dreamworks are the leaders when it comes to computer-animated cuteness but there tend to be smaller films out there that also get squeezed out. A Turtle’s Tale 2: Sammy’s Escape from Paradise is one such film and the results are actually kind of charming.

The film follows Sammy and Ray, two turtles who end up trapped in a restaurant/aquarium called “The Tank”. Once inside, they must find a way out out so that they can reunite with their grandchildren Ricky and Ella. While inside The Tank, they meet colorful characters and embark on an exciting adventure.

A Turtle’s Tale 2: Sammy’s Escape from Paradise is a sweet animated film with a cute story. Unfortunately, it will fall through the cracks and end up in a $1 DVD bin, ending up buried in obscurity. If you have children or know of people who do, then this is the perfect chance to show the little ones an animated film that means well and features some decent animation. The voice acting is only okay but that is because the script is a bit on the weak side. Kids won’t mind it however and will certainly enjoy the adventure that Sammy and Ray go on. A Turtle’s Tale 2 may be a bit unknown but it is certainly worth checking out.

DVD Bonus Features

The bonus features for A Turtle’s Tale 2: Sammy’s Escape from Paradise are almost nonexistent. There is just a trailer for some other animated film.
