Canada is a country that exists but not too many of the American public and beyond know much about. It’s a nation shrouded in mystery and maple syrup. A new documentary, however, is trying to change that and through celebrity interviews and some fascinating historical facts, Being Canadian is on its way to change the perception many people have about the country. Writer/director Robert Cohen (Maron, The Simpsons (Episode: Flaming Moe’s)) and producer Colin K. Gray (Atari: Game Over, Clean Break) were kind enough to speak with me about the film and it was an illuminating talk to say the least. Here’s how it went:
