Forgettaboutit! Jersey Shore has come and gone. Like all “great” things, the show had to eventually come to an end. The popular reality show lasted an admirable six seasons and MTV audiences were both treated and disgusted by drama, drinking and nonstop hook-ups. The sixth and final season is now out on DVD so you can relive the cringe-worthy moments over and over again.

If you aren’t familiar with the show, Jersey Shorefollows a group of young, attractive and fairly rambunctious individuals. They reside in a summer house in the very popular Seaside Heights area of New Jersey. The group consists of Mike “The Situation”, DJ Pauly D, Vinny, Ronnie, Sammie “Sweetheart”, Deena, JWoww and last but not least, Snooki. Together, these party animals drink, fight and “smoosh” aka have sex.

Season six is the final adventure of these eight individuals but their escapades will not be forgotten. Working at a local T-shirt store by day and boozing it up at night, the cast of Jersey Shore certainly knows how to put on an entertaining show. It’s just sad that these “stars” are what today’s youth consider as role models. Over the years, MTV has churned out mindless drivel like Jersey Shore and teenagers eat it up and start behaving like its stars. Jersey Shore is a riot at times and with the final season uncensored on DVD, there is a good deal of profanity which kind of enhances it. It’s just unfortunate that many young people today see this show and try to emulate it.

The bonus features for Jersey Shore: The Uncensored Final Season are pretty solid. There is a reunion special, after hour specials, “Most Outrageous Moments”, a “Breakdowns, Boobs & Bronzer” special, deleted scenes, a “Gym, Tan, Look Back” special and other fun stuff.
